In 1 Corinthians 1:2, the apostle Paul addresses the believers as, “those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place, who is theirs and ours.” Hallelujah! We are those who call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ in every place!
From the reading, I enjoyed seeing that our calling on His name marks us out as His believers. I believe it is a privilege to call on the name of the Lord. From my experience, when I call on His name I am saved from whatever I may be struggling with and I’m brought into Him. And when I am in Him, I receive peace, joy, and hope.
Sadly, many believers today do not call upon the name of the Lord. But, praise the Lord, calling on His name has actually been recovered in few believers. If this is your first time hearing about this, I suggest you try it out. Call on the name of the Lord from your inner being and He will come to you!

Calling on the Name of the Lord
“Throughout the Old Testament as well as in the early days of the Christian age, the saints called on the Lord’s name….We believe that today the Lord wants to recover calling on His name and to have us practice it so that we may enjoy the riches of His life.”
